Mid City

Mid-City is a vibrant and diverse neighborhood nestled in the heart of Los Angeles. It boasts a unique blend of urban and suburban charm with an array of dining options, coffee shops, and parks making it a popular choice among young professionals. Interestingly, the local post office is named after the famed musician Ray Charles, who once had his recording studio and offices located in this very neighborhood. Spanning 3.5-square-miles, Mid-City is bordered by Robertson Boulevard on the west, Crenshaw on the east, Pico Boulevard to the north, and the 10 Freeway to the south. The location is ideal – it’s diverse, walking-friendly, and centrally positioned. You can reach any part of L.A. within about 20 minutes, and parking is surprisingly ample compared to other areas of the city. Plus, you can stroll to two different Target stores, various grocery outlets, and several fitness studios within just a 3-mile radius. Mid-City has been experiencing a wave of transformation recently. Auto body shops and strip malls are making way for luxury high-rise buildings. A new shopping complex has sprung up on La Brea between San Vicente and Pico boulevards, hosting big names like Target, Michael’s, and Sprouts Farmers Market. Given all these conveniences, it’s no surprise that Mid-City is catching more attention in bustling L.A.
