Beverly Wood

Beverlywood, a picturesque neighborhood, lies in the center of Los Angeles with a population of 6,156 residents. This area uniquely combines the hustle and bustle of urban life with the tranquility of suburban living, truly offering the ideal balance of urban and suburban. It’s a place where you can find a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, and parks, coupled with the charm of mountainous streets, cul-de-sacs, lofty trees, and exquisite homes. Strategically located on the Westside of LA, it’s just a few blocks away from the famous Beverly Hills. Beverlywood’s development dates back to 1940, thanks to the efforts of Walter H. Leimert. The neighborhood is composed of 1,354 single-family homes. Interestingly, Beverlywood was initially a part of Beverly Hills until 1940 when it branched out to become a separate planned community. The neighborhood is a tranquil suburb tucked away in the city’s heart, offering a suburban oasis amidst the urban sprawl of Los Angeles. The friendly neighbors, numerous families, and the acclaimed elementary school contribute to its charm. The well-known Hillcrest Country Club and the Museum of Tolerance are also located here. The Beverlywood Home Owners’ Association plays a crucial role in maintaining the neighborhood’s regulations and standards, ensuring a harmonious living environment for all its residents.
